Everyone agrees that any family willing to become a foster family deserves support throughout the process. What people sometimes don't consider is that getting the process started is expensive!

From smoke alarms to first aid kits, to multiple different sizes of clothes, foster parents are expected to be able to adequately provide everything a child could need before they even know who the child is.

We, as their village, can help them get started in this process by treating this party similar to a "baby shower" but instead of diapers and wipes, the girts we bring are household items they still need to get prepared.
